The only distinguishing feature on this jar is its deep coloration - almost black.  Hence the name, "black amber".  Deeper jars (at least this deep) don't seem to be as appreciated as lighter jars, perhaps because they don't show up in a window as well as the lighter ones.  Still, I kind of like them just due to their unusual coloring.
