This is definitely the most common cobalt jar there is. It comes in
two varieties, the squatty version shown here and the tall version shown
here. The squatty ones
also come in amber. I'm not so sure on the tall ones. As you
might have guessed from the name "Johnson & Johnson" these jars were
originally used to hold medical supplies, namely gauze. Were they ever
used as fruit jars? I have no idea, but they're certainly accepted
within the collecting community as jars.
