The design under "Mason's" is called a keystone.  The amber keystone masons are very desirable.  The quarts are significantly rarer in this particular jar than the half gallons so this is a pretty nice jar.  I'm not sure who made them nor really why they keystone was used on jars, but there are quite a few aqua jars with keystones on them.
